Don’t you just love those furniture pieces that snap together like your favorite childhood game? It seems like the more furniture becomes contemporary the more it regresses to a juvenile state of mind. But I think that most would agree that simplicity an act of genius. Just think of the wheel, centuries later and no other invention has come close to it.
Though there is nothing childish about Anita Nevens’ furniture designs, your inner child is going to love to play with them. Her prototype ‘B-Locked 2’ lines are simplistic and yet you get the idea that there is more complex explanation behind the work’s structure. But if that still doesn’t inspire you-- then maybe her ‘B-lined’ designs will appeal to your inner neat freak as they transform from dinette to box in the blink of an eye.
